Aizu Samurai Residence ("Aizu Buke Yashiki" in Japanese) is a theme park like outdoor museum of historical Aizu Domain's buildings.
It is located about 2 km east of Tsurugajo castle.
The main building is the restored residence of Saigou Tanomo (1830-1903), and he was a chief retainer of Aizu Domain.
The residence has 38 rooms in the more than 900 square meters site.

There are some other restored buildings related to Aizu Domain and museums in the park.
How to get here
By sightseeing route bus "Akabee", about 19 minutes from Aizu-Wakamatsu station.
By sightseeing route bus "Haikara-san", about 13 minutes from Tsurugajo castle.
