Hibiya Park ("Hibiya-kôen" in Japanese) is a park in the center of Tokyo.

It is a nearly rectangular area about 500 meters from north to south and about 350 meters from east to west.

It is located just to the south of Kokyo-Gaien.
And, there is Kasumigaseki area of government buildings to the west, and JR Yurakucho and Shinbashi stations are at a short distance.

This park was developed on the basis of city plan in 1903 for the first time in Japan.

In the park, there are many trees and some flowerbeds, so it is a downtown oasis.

And in this area, Hibiya Public Hall, Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall and some other public facilities are set up.

When you walk between Kokyo and National Diet Building, the route through this park is good.

  • From JR Yurakucho station, about 8 minutes on foot.
  • Nearest stations of subway.
