Sapporo Beer Museum

Sapporo Beer MuseumSapporo Beer Museum is the only museum about beer in Japan, and it is located about 2 km east of JR Sapporo station.

This place was originally a site of a sugar factory.
Sapporo Breweries Limited bought up it in 1903, and it was used as a processing factory of barley until 1965.
In 1982 this factory became the museum.

Sapporo Breweries Limited is one of five Japan's major beer breweries, and the product is commonly called "Sapporo Beer".

This museum has the exhibits of introduction and history of the company, instruments for brewing, old bottles or posters and other articles.
It has also guided tour.
