RyukyuMura is a theme park introducing traditional Okinawa culture.
It is in Onna village located about 7 km east of Cape Zanpa.
In the park, there are nine old houses and two other facilities in Okinawa.
They were built between the early 19th and the early 20th centuries, and has been moved from every region of Okinawa Island and rebuilt in this park.
Most of them were designated as a registered tangible cultural properties of Japan.

There is a traditional sugar factory.
In Okinawa, sugar has been made from sugarcane.
Water buffaloes has been used as the power source, and we can see the working buffaloes there.
We can learn various traditional cultures of Okinawa such as making Bingata, indigo dyeing, playing Sanshin, dancing Eisaa.
Also we can wear the kimono of Okinawa.
How to get here
By route bus, about 1 hour and 10 minutes from central Naha to Ryukyu-Mura stop.
