Universal Studios Japan (USJ) is a theme park located near Osaka Port.
It is located about 7 km southwest of Osaka station and about 7 km west of Nanba station.
It is the theme park of Universal Studios, one of the six major American movie studios, and was opened in 2001.
This is one of the most popular theme parks in Japan, and more than 8 million people a year visit here.
It is the second most visitors in Japan, after Tokyo Disney Resort.
There are about 65 attractions in 9 areas.
The areas are the towns such as Hollywood, New York, and some famous movies such as Jurassic Park, Harry Potter.
Recently, some attractions such as Hello Kitty, One Piece which are the popular Japanese character and Manga have been added.

Near the entrance of Universal Studios Japan, there is Universal Citywalk.
It is a commercial complex, and many restaurants, fast-food shops, various shops and convenient stores are in the facility.

It is also called as TAKOPA from "Takoyaki park".
It is on the fourth floor, and there are six popular takoyaki restaurants.

How to get here
Change to JR Yumesaki Line at Nishi-Kujo station of JR Osaka Loop Line or Hanshin Railway.
Get off at Universal City. About 5 minutes from Nishi-Kujo.
By express bus, about 45 minutes from Itami Airport, about 1 hour 10 minutes from Kansai International Airport.
